England 1st Team Assistant & U21 Manager - Stuart Pearce
For the last 3 seasons, many GJFL Coaches have taken the opportunity to attend Coach demo’s hosted by our neighbours in Sheffield, the Sheffield & Hallamshire Coaches Association. Its a bit of a hike but well worth the effort.
This Tuesday (22nd Sept) see’s England’s National team Assistant and England U21 Manager Stuart Pearce take to the floor to deliver a session on defending. Click here for more info…
Any GJFL member coach interested in attending (if not already a member of the Sheffield & Hallamshire Coaches Association, only £10 annual fee) should contact me by email to register in the unlikely event of any late changes.
This event is free of charge for pre-registered GJFL members who are not members of the S&HCA, otherwise its £2.00 per person on entry.

If you had the opportunity to go to Stuart Pearce’s session last night, then I’m sure you’ll agree that it was exactly what you’d expect from the England Assistant Manager – highly effectual and very professional.
If you didn’t go, then you missed out on how the role of the full-back is developing in the modern game, why it doesn’t make sense to concentrate on overlapping and why ‘underlapping’ is the future!
