GJFL U12 Rep Team Go Close!

GJFL Rep Team at Bradford FC
A big well done to all the Players from the U12’s at Wigton Moor Juniors, Colton Juniors and Rothwell Juniors who represented GJFL, all of whom played exceptionally well, in very warm conditions and conducted themselves in and exemplary manor both on and off the pitch at the recent Bradford City FC U12’s Tournament. They were not only a credit to themselves, their parents and their clubs but were also a great advert for the quality of football within the Garforth Junior Football League and we should all be very proud of them.
The event was made up of four teams, being representative teams from the Garforth League, Huddersfield League and Bradford League, plus a centre of excellence team from Bradford City.
The GJFL team were fantastic, finishing second to Bradford City’s team only on goals scored, and ahead of the other League rep’ teams. The tournament was deemed a great success by all those involved – well done lads!

One minor point, I believe that Bradford City have a Centre of Excellence and not an Academy.
