Wortley FC Juniors Under 13’s Boys Team won through to the Millennium Cup Grand Final which will be held at Elland Road on Tuesday 27th April, Kick Off 7.30pm.
It was Wortkey FC versus Wigton Moor in the Eastern Area Final last Sunday which was a very close and very entertaining game which Wortley edged 1-0. Wortley will now play Ackworth All Stars from the Charles Rice League in the Grand Final, who beat Pannal Sports 4-1 in the Western Area Final last Saturday.
Both of the Area Finals were played at Leeds United’s Thorp Arch training base.
This is a great achievement for the players, the team and the club and are the first Wortley FC team to represent the club in a major cup final at Elland Road.
