GJFL Registration Information
Applications by Clubs for admission to the Garforth Junior Football League must be made in writing to Peter Griffiths (Registration Secretary) and must be accompanied by an entry fee of £ 35-00 per team which shall be returned in the event of non-election.

NOTE: The closing date for receipt of applications shall be 20th JUNE 2009.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
As member clubs will already be aware, in accordance with the FA Football Development Strategy to promote the FA Charter Standard Scheme to all affiliated clubs, the Garforth Junior Football League is working closely with the West Riding County FA towards being awarded Charter League Status. As a consequence of this, ALL existing member clubs must have obtained, or be in the process of attaining, FA Charter Standard Status before the commencement of the coming season. Newly formed clubs will be permitted a period of 12 months to attain Charter Standard accreditation.
(2) From season 2009-10:
All leagues and clubs with youth teams must have appointed a named Welfare Officer who has an ‘accepted’ CRB check via The FA CRB Unit and who has completed The FA Safeguarding Children Workshop.
Please note: it is not sufficient to have completed The FA’s online Safeguarding course as a Welfare Officer. You must have attended the FA three-hour workshop Safeguarding Children Workshop (formerly known as Child Protection and Best Practice).
From season 2010-11:
All leagues and clubs with youth teams must have a named Welfare Officer who has an ‘accepted’ CRB check via The FA CRB Unit and who has completed The FA Safeguarding Children and Welfare Officer Workshops.
Please complete the application form in full, click the link below to open the file. (Save to your PC and type it up if possible). 1 Entry form per team wishing to enter into the League (3 pages). If you submit all your teams in one go, you only need to complete page 1 once.
All Managers must have had a CRB check completed and a West Riding County FA photo ID Card. Each club must provide a valid, in use, e-mail address contact for each team entering into the League.
The Competition for the 2009/2010 season will be open to U9’s; U10’s; U11’s; U12’s U13’s & U14’s.
The U9’s & U10’s will play mini soccer in 1 or 2 team squad leagues, dependant on the number of entries received in each category. Please indicate on the application form if you wish to enter the 1 team league or the 2 team league.
The U11’s; U12’s; U13’s & U14’s will all play 11-a-side soccer.
