It was confirmed at the GJFL AGM that the 2011/12 season will commence on Sunday 11th September.

The date of the U14 & U15 pre season meeting has been confirmed as Thursday 25th August starting 8pm at Ossett Town FC.
The handbooks and other relevant information will be handed out at the meeting and the appropriate divisional secretary will be available to answer any questions that managers have.

Wortley FC Juniors Under 14′s Boys team, (Year 9) are for looking for goalkeeper to strengthen their squad in preparation for the 2011/2012 season in the Garforth Junior Football League. The team train once week and their match days are on a Sunday at Swallow Hill Playing Fields. The club is in partnership with Leeds United Academy who perform regular coaching sessions at the club venues with academy coaches. Stanningley Albion U14s (Season 2011-2012 U15s – currently year 9s) are looking for new players to strengthen their squad. When they train in the summer break, it will be on a Thursday Evenings on Hough Top. Coaching is by a UEFA level B coach.
