GJFL Divisional Secretaries needed !!
Without the hardwork of all the Garforth League Divisional Secretaries, the league just wouldn’t happen. But, Divisional Secretaries don’t grow on trees, and Garforth League needs motivated volunteers to help out.There have been times in the past when Div Secs (as they are known) have been short on the ground and others have covered, but as probably the best league in the area, everyone involved wants to ensure that Garforth League continues to be seen as such, but we can’t do that without committed and valuable volunteers.
Tingley Athletic FC to host U11 Challenge Cup Semi finals
The Garforth Junior Football League committee would like to thank Tingley Athletic FC for agreeing to host the U11 Challenge Cup finds at The Crescent on Sunday 28th March.
Fixtures section now working
The FA have now performed a fix and the fixtures section of the Garforth League website should now be fully operational again …. apologises for any inconvenience over the past couple of weeks !
January League Meeting cancelled due to weather
Please note that due to the unpredictability of the weather the Management Committee has decided to CANCEL the League Meeting scheduled for this Thursday 14th January at Ossett Town AFC
Website issues with Fixtures
Although Mike has updated a link it appears that the problem with the fixtures on the Garforth League website may be down to the FA Full Time website.
We are in contact with them and they are looking into a “fix” so we hope to resolve things shortly.
Complaints relating to player, manager or spectator behaviour
The management committee would like to remind everyone that all complaints relating to “bad behaviour” should be reported direct to WRCFA (please send a copy to Davd Brown, League Secretary so that the league are aware of the complaint)

U9 Divisional Secretary – Gary Thornton
The committee are pleased to welcome Gary Thornton to the management committee for the coming season. Gary will be taking on the role of U9 divisional secretary. His address is now shown on the committee page and a contact phone number will be added shortly.
Cup Final dates
The dates for the U11, U12, U13 and U14 Cup finals have been set for 18th April, 25th April, 2nd May and 9th May …. which age groups plays on which date to be decided later in the season.
