2011/12 season starts Sunday 11th September
It was confirmed at the GJFL AGM that the 2011/12 season will commence on Sunday 11th September.
The divisional secretaries have now been confirmed as :

U7, U8 & U9 pre season meeting – Thursday 1st September
The date of the U7, U8 & U9 pre season meeting has been confirmed as Thursday 1st September starting 7.30pm at Ossett Town FC.
The handbooks and other relevant information will be handed out at the meeting and the appropriate divisional secretary will be available to answer any questions that managers have.
Please note : This meeting is a mandatory meeting and a fine will be issued for non attendance.
Wortley FC Under 8′s (Next Season U9′s) Looking For New Players
Wortley FC current Under 8′s team (next season Under 9′s) are looking for additional outfield players to join their two team double squads for next season in readiness for next season in, at Under 9′s, the Garforth Junior Football League. The team train twice a week and their match days are on a Sunday at Whingate Primary School. The teams will also be attending tournaments throughout the summer. Tadcaster Albion FC Host U11′s Challenge Cup Semi Finals
We are pleased to announce that this seasons Under 11′s Challenge Cup Semi Finals will be hosted at Tadcaster Albion FC on Sunday 27th March. In the first game of the day Rothwell Town will play Glen Juniors in a 11.00am kick off and Colton Juniors will play Yorkshire Amateur in a 2pm.
GJFL are proud to stage the Under 11 semi finals and thank Tadcaster Albion for allowing the use of their facilities for the day.
