Gildersome Spurs U14’s (2010/11 season) are looking to add an additional couple of players to strengthen their current squad.
We are a Friendly club and always strive to give every player a chance to play some football throughout the season.

“do you want to enter a ONE team or a TWO team league?”
To help you answer the question you initally need to ask yourself the following questions …
1. How many players will I have next season ?
2. Are all the players in the correct school year ?
What is a “friendly” league ?
why should I enter a friendly league ?
First and foremost it makes your life easier !
There is no catch and it’s absolutely FREE to register a team in the friendly league at U7 and U8s

Having taken a heavy defeat in the Challenge Cup to a 3rd division team they then knocked a 2nd division team out of the Supplementary Cup and almost took a second 2nd division scalp [...]
U11 Division 4 – Joint winners Churwell Lions B & Kirkstall Crusaders
Even after 20 league matches the only thing that might have split these two teams were the matches against each other but having taken the bragging rights once each even this didn’t decide the ultimate winner in division 4 with both Churwell Lions B & Kirkstall Crusaders each amassing an incredible 57 points this season.

U11 Division 3 winners – Stanningley Albion
Congratulations to Stanningley Albion for securing the third division. After a difficult season, due to the weather, and a number of mid week games they should be extremely proud of the 52 points which they achieved in their first season in the GJFL. Well done to all Dave Noonan and all the players !!
